How do I take card payments without a terminal?
Your SocialCart shop generates a payment QR for the exact amount. You show it on your screen, the customer scans it with their phone and pays by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay, via Stripe. No hardware, no app on their side.
Who is this for?
For people who sell in person: markets, fairs, flea markets, pop-ups. If you lose sales when customers have no cash, and you want your online shop and your in-person payments in one place, this is for you.
When is it not the right tool?
If you run a permanent shop with a cash register, sell only on Etsy or Amazon and plan to stay there, or need multi-employee accounting, a full POS system will serve you better.
Does the customer need to install an app?
No. They scan the QR with their phone's camera, the payment page opens in their browser, and the receipt lands in their inbox.
